About 1·Lectures
Since 2014, the Academy of Architecture has been organising the 1·Lectures in collaboration with the Amsterdam Architecture Centre. About the speakers

bplus.xyz (Arno Brandlhuber, Jolene Lee)

bplus.xyz (b+) is a collaborative architecture practice that operates at the intersection of theory and praxis, and across different media and formats. The practice seeks to engage with the contemporary challenges of our time, particularly those related to social-ecological transformation and adaptive reuse of existing buildings, with ecologically and economically viable answers.

station.plus

Station+ (s+) is a teaching and research platform at the Chair of Arno Brandlhuber, Institute for Design at the Department of Architecture, ETH Zurich. s+ was founded as an architecture TV station to further explore the potential of video and film as design tools for form-making beyond the built object, between fact and fiction, in space and time.

HouseEurope!
HouseEurope! is a European Citizens’ Initiative that advocates for an EU legislation to boost the renovation of existing buildings and stops their demolition driven by speculation.z
