Rens Borgers, who has been active in the construction sector for over 30 years, is a pioneer in the field of biobased building materials. In his 1Lectures on 5 April he talks about creating a healthy energy-reducing environment based on biomaterials.
He will explain how to design with straw and hemp lime. Scientific results from biobased buildings, such as the Science Museum London and the University of Bath, are also discussed. Finally, he speaks from his personal experience of bio-based living.
