Vist Architecture Centre Amsterdam for a Crash Course on the city’s architecturale history. During a 45-minute lecture, you will get to know everything about the origin of the city and how it expanded.
Fully enjoy your afternoon by combining the Crash Course with our Guided Tour. A local ‘guiding architect’ will tell you everything you need to know about the redevelopment of de banks of the IJ and the former docklands.
The 2-hour walk starts at Architecture Centre Amsterdam and runs via the newly opened Marineterrein to Oosterdokseiland (including the new Public Library) and a ferry ride to the northern shore of Het IJ.

Time: Crash Course 1.30 – 2.15 PM and Guided Tour 2.30 – 4.30 PM (there will be no Tour on Friday 11 August, only a Crash Course)

Price: Crash Course €7,50 p.p.; combined with Guided Tour € 22,50 p.p, including coffee and tea. Available in our webshop.
The length of the route is 2 kilometres and it includes a few stairs and bridges.
