In the summer of 2017 it was announced that Orange Architects from Rotterdam have won the tender for Plot 42A at IJburg with the design’ Jonas’. Until the end of 2017, The Amsterdam Architecture Centre will show the four entries on the Vide – Neutelings Riedijk, SeARCH, MVRDV and Orange Architects – for this prominent position at the port of IJburg. The challenge for lot 42A was to create a sturdy and powerful compositional whole with a convincing identity.
