New 1Lectures season


The Amsterdam Architecture Centre organises the 1Lectures In collaboration with the Academy of Architecture Amsterdam since 2014. This series of architectural lectures provides a platform for speakers from the Netherlands and abroad to talk about a wide range of subjects from the international world of architecture, urban planning and landscape architecture.

Last season we opened the 1Lectures series with Daniel Libeskind. And again this academic year (2018-2019) we kick off the 1Lectures in style with a lecture by the Japanese architect Kengo Kuma. Unfortunately the tickets were sold out within three hours, but we have more interesting speakers lined up for you.

In addition, tickets can be purchased at the door from 7:30 PM on the evening of the lecture itself (if available). 
Students of the Academy of Architecture
Academy of Architecture students are entitled to free admission on presentation of their student ID card.
