Three trends
The nominees for the 2017 Amsterdam Architecture Prize, the ‘Golden A.A.P.’, reveal a city in transition. The projects showcase the use of innovative construction methods, new forms of project development and provide a response to Amsterdam’s population growth. We have identified three distinct trends: New Project Development, Growing Metropolis, and Innovation & Circularity.
Award ceremony
On April 13th, the Gouden A.A.P. is awarded to the architect and the client of the winning project. Next to a jury of professionals, also a public jury of citizens of Amsterdam award a price.
