Paul Robbrecht & Hilde Daem

Since 1975, Paul Robbrecht and Hilde Daem have realized a considerable oeuvre, which in addition to various private houses comprises, among other things, the Concert Hall in Bruges (2001) and the redevelopment of De Katoen Natie in Antwerp (1991-2001). Their working method is characterized by an affinity with contemporary art, which is manifest in the exhibition buildings they have designed, including, for example, the Aue Pavilions for Documenta IX (1992) in Kassel, now in use as the Museum De Paviljoens in Almere, and the museum for the private collection Hauser and Wirth in Sankt Gallen (2000).
