Famous Japanese architect Kengo Kuma comes to the Netherlands on 17 September and opens the new season 1Lectures with his lecture in the Zuiderkerk.

1·Lectures plus debate | The Productive City

On April 20th architect and urban planner Kristiaan Borret takes a refreshing perspective on the spatial quality of urban space. He shares his experiences as former city architect of Antwerp and his current position as city architect of Brussels.


1·Lectures | Georges Descombes SOLD OUT

Georges Descombes, architect, trained at the University of Geneva and the Architectural Association in London, has worked “in the landscape” since the Parc de Lancy (1980-86) and his participation in the “Swiss Path” (1987-1991). During his 1Lectures, Descombes will share some of his works, including the prize-winning Aire River project.

On March 23rd, architect Gijs Rikken (MVRDV) and Cees van der Spek (OVG Real Estate) will give a 1·Lectures on their project P15/Ravel Plaza located on the Zuidas.

On 9 March, architect Paul de Ruiter lectures about the carbon neutral society by discussing a selection of recent projects of his office Paul de Ruiter Architects.
